Ihembosi

Ihembosi is nestled 20 miles south-east of the city of Onitsha and 7 miles south of Nnewi. It is located in the newly carved out Ekwusigo Local Government of Anambra State. Ihembosi shares boundaries with Okija, Ukpor and Ozubulu. This town was the home of ancient brave warriors whose decendants have turned out to be equally brave but divinely smart business and intellectual bunch.

Dark cloud set on and above the town of Ihembosi since the kidnapping and disappearance of their traditional ruler, HRH Igwe Jerry (Ezedioranma, Akpaka 1) on or about May 25, 2011. Information leading to his return is still sought after.
