Ihembosi is a blessed town. However, there is the challenge of self belief among her citizens. I see this as the "challenge of destiny." Going by her name, Ihembosi "the light of day," this town should be a model town disseminating light to other bordering towns, cities and nations. But the reverse has been the case. Each time I visit this town, its always like there is a prevalent cloud of darkness hovering over the town. This is spiritual and can only be spiritually discerned, and not with natural eyes. Taking a drive through the town, or taking a walk to the Eke market always leaves me shaking my head in disbelief that the town that Ieft about forty years ago has yet to experience any reasonable development beyond mediocrity. Ihembosi still lag behind in the commity of nations. This is heartbreaking! This is a sincere observation coming from a concerned heart. And I urge the sons and daughters of blessed Ihembosi to ARISE and SHINE. LET US KINDLE A GREAT LIGHT IN THIS GREAT TOWN BY LEAVING INDELIBLE FOOTPRINTS ON THE SANDS OF TIME. It will start by a change of thinking, self believe, creativity, and sacrifice. It is possible. God bless Ihembosi!!!
